Jageshwar (35.5KM)

  • It will be a 1 hr 30 min drive by car to the Jageshwar Temple ;abode of 12 jyotirlings. It has over 124 temples dedicated to Lord Shiva dated between 7th -12th centuary, situated at an elevation of 1870metres above the sea level. This temple is believed to carry the Nagesh Jyotir linga of the twelve Jytoirlingas present in the country.
  • The Archaeological Museum - run by Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), houses more than 150 sculptures found in the Jageshwar valley. These date from 9th to 13th century AD.[23] The display includes a statue of Uma-Maheshwar, Surya, Navagraha, panels narrating the legend of Vishapaharanamurti (Shiva drinking poison), Kevalamurti, and four armed Chamunda Devi.
  • Be ready to lick your fingers , the dhabas there provide the food in the traditional way.
  • On your way to the Temple, you can visit the temple of Golu Devta at Chitai .Entering Jageshwar and having the view of the Deodar forest and the river Jata Ganga that flows through the town is a whole euphoria.
  • In the evening , while heading towards the resort you can have a visit to the Leopard and deer zoo situated at N.T.D , Simtola Eco Park at Papersali.

Binsar (8KM)

Ditch your late morning schedule because the mesmerizing sunrise and the snow laden mountains are waiting for you.

  • Trip starts – 5:00 am to the Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary which is located on the top of the Jhandi Dhar Hills.
  • It will be a half hour drive to the Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary gate. Waking up early has so many benefits.Isn’t it? You will be enthralled by the sunrise on your way.
  • A drive through the Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary with the guide.
  • Bird watching with nice old trails in the jungle, a dense forest giving you the feeling of Waldeinsamkeit. You can explore the wilderness and the birds chirping in ecstasy.
  • Then you will visit the Binsar Zero point, a 2 km trek. It is the highest Vintage point of the Binsar Wildlife, from where one can savour a 360 degree view of the Himalayan Beauties namely Kedarnath, Shivling, Trishul and the group of Nanda Devi peaks.
  • Having the beautiful view you will be back at the resort at 9:00 am followed by your breakfast. Now you can plan your day accordingly.

Katarmal Sun Temple (10 km)

  • Breakfast – 9:00 am at the resort.
  • It takes about 45 min to reach the Temple. It is constructed by the Katyuri king Katarmalla in the 9th century CE, which has 44 smaller temples around the main deity of lord Surya. It is crowned by lush green forest and the temples are so beautifully made.
  • Hungry? You can choose any place along the river side and make it your picnic spot.
  • If you want to make your day more adventurous then yeah you are in the right place, you can even do angling in the Kosi river but yes remember it should only be a catch and release game.
  • After the fun and the memorable hygge you can head back to the resort.

Kausani (52.5km)

Haven’t been to Switzerland? Don’t worry you aren’t going to miss it! Mahatma Gandhi Ji called this place the SWITZERLAND OF INDIA, and undoubtedly it’s scenic splendor will give you the feel of Switzerland.

  • Breakfast – 9:00 am at the resort.
  • It takes around 2 hours to reach there.It is located in Bageshwar district of Uttarakhand, a historical capital of Kumaon Kingdom having a 300 km- wide panoramic view of Himalayan Peaks like Trisul, Nanda Devi and Panchchuli.The first place of interest here is the Gandhi Ashram.
  • ANASAKTI ASHRAM (Gandhi Ashram) – It is famous for the stay of Mahatma Gandhi for two weeks in 1929. There he treatise and practiced the Anasakti Yoga and wrote his commentary, there is a prayer room where prayers are held every morning and evening.
  • Tea gardens - While driving you can have the view of mountains as well as beautiful tea gardens.
  • Bajnath group of temples, Kumaon Shawl Emporium and Pant Museum are some places of interest. After visiting head back to resort.

Ranikhet (50km)

The Queens Meadow, Ranikhet!

  • In 1869,the British established the headquarters of the Kumaon Regiment here and used the station as a retreat from the heat of the Indian summer. At one time during British Raj, it was also proposed as the summer headquarters of Government of India, in lieu of Shimla.

  • A two hrs drive and you are at the famous golf course of Uttarakhand.
  • Golf course: - Ranikhet Golf Course is one of the highest golf courses of Asia, located 5 kilometres (3 mi) from main Ranikhet City. Ranikhet Golf Course is a 9-hole course making it one of the prime attractions of Ranikhet. The green meadow of the golf course at such high altitude is awe-inspiring.
  • Ready to add positive vibes to your mind and soul? Do visit the Binsar Mahadev Temple, it’s a beautiful artistic structure with a stream flowing close to it which adds another point to its beauty.
  • Bhalu Dam :- It is an artificial small lake blessed with natural bounteousness, panoramic views of the Himalayan Mountains and placid surroundings. The small but beautiful garden nearby the dam is marvelous.
  • You can also visit Rani Jheel, Ashiyana Park and Mankameshwar Temple there.
  • Way back to the resort.
